Have you got the Coronavirus Blues?
Then you thought about working on getting in shape and losing a few pounds but guess what. Yup! The gym is closed. Then you think about spending some money, (really means using your credit card to cheer you up) by treating yourself to some Mall Therapy, but the shopping centers are all closed.
Hmmmm… How about finally taking time to go to Wine Country and do some much needed wine tasting. Uh-Oh! No can do. You can’t travel during Coronavirus. Not to mention you just might be really broke, since the Eagle is down! Ain’t no payday coming on Friday.
Yes, the world looks really gray and miserable during Coronavirus Blues.
What’s a sad so-in-so like you and me to do during Coronavirus Blues?
The answer is… Pull ourselves together!
How?
Got Music? Then let’s dance! Dancing boost the spirit. Remind yourself there is life in that body. Dancing alone feels great! But if you need an audience (and I don’t recommend this) you can set up the camera on your cell phone or laptop and record yourself dancing and maybe if you got courage, just post yourself, by going “Live” on Facebook, and invite your family and friends to join in. Who knows you might just go viral.
Or do yoga, meditate, or have a calming relaxing cup of tea. Tea flavors such as chamomile, peppermint, lemon or passion fruit are wonderful teas with calming effects. Please check with your medical provider first to make sure you don’t have any allergies or other health issues relating to drinking these teas.
Next, if none of these suggestions work for you, in helping you get over your Coronavirus Blues, then take a few minutes out of every day to sit down and do some focus breathing. Focus breathing is a great way to help you relax, reduce tension, and relieve stress, which are all symptoms of having the blues.
Finally, if all else fails, read a book and let it take you to a whole new world. The choice is yours. Keep the Coronavirus Blues or kick it to the curb and get your happy on.

Is It Love or Infatuation
Here are a few things to think about the next time you think about whether or not you are loving someone or in love with them. • Loving someone is a choice, being in love isn’t. • Loving someone means wanting them to do well, being in love means putting them first. • Loving someone is fleeting, being in love is forever. • Loving someone means needing them around, being in love means needing them to be where they are happy. • Loving someone is about ownership, being in love is a partnership. • Loving someone is an uphill battle, being in love is effortless. • When you're in love with someone, you can fall out of love with that someone. • When you love someone, you never really stop loving that someone.
Wow! So many steps, so many things to think about on the subject of is it or isn’t it love when the feeling of love should be effortless, right? But this sounds like work just trying to figure it out. So, the moral of this story is to love realistically. • When you see your certain someone, realistically as they are and they see you realistically as you are, you both are less likely to disappoint the other. Take time to really get to truly know the person who is the object of your affection, realistically and you will be on your way to conquering the uphill battle to effortless love. And always remember Infatuation happens instantly. But love is a slow process.

Take 10 Minutes Each Day To Recharge!
This quiet time can be called our personal retreat time and this time doesn’t have to be a lot. Just ten minutes a day, will do the trick and if you don’t have ten minutes to start with, take five minutes. Whatever amount of time you can take for yourself, take it. It’s that important. Where should you go for your retreat? Anyplace will do. As long as you have the time to turn your attention inward. My favorite place is my bedroom window. The one that looks out over my backyard. Why? Because I can watch my flowers grow. Other things and places to consider for your inner retreat are focusing on a favorite picture in your home, or office that inspires you. Focusing on a high ceiling, chandelier, sculpture, dream catcher, or other symbol. Any of these items and more could be your focal point for your inward place.
Now that you have your retreat place, how to turn inward. Once you enter your retreat place sit and get comfortable, next spend the first five minutes just breathing. You can close your eyes, but only if you feel comfortable doing so. Focus on your breathing. Take deep breaths and hold for a few seconds and then release. Notice your thoughts while you are breathing. If negative thoughts come up, acknowledge them and let them go, returning your attention back to your breathing. Listen for sounds around you. Acknowledge that this is your retreat place that you are happy in this place.
Some suggestions to say to yourself while you are breathing are: You are relaxing and recharging. You are thankful and grateful for the people in your life. You are thankful and grateful for other things of interest to you. You are grateful for having love in your life or forgetting away from someone negative in your life. Etc., Etc., Whatever you may be grateful for…Say these to yourself, inwardly. After your ten minutes is up, slowly open your eyes if you closed them and look around. Notice everything as if you are seeing it for the first time and watch the beauty unfold. Also notice how much calmer you should feel. This was your retreat.
